I have read the email from Brian Hoff which he proclamed that my animated short My Heart Flies won the Academy of Dream Award from the Palm Springs International Animation Festival which is my first animation award in my entire career which I will win an Annie Award in the future which I will be the first animator with autism to receive this award.   https://www.awn.com/news/sgt-stubby-american-hero-wins-best-animated-feature-psiaf-2018  

Today is the first day of fall where the leaves turn orange and brown, the weather gets cooler, animals prepare for hibernation for the upcoming winter, and marks the end of the harvest season where the Halloween season begins in October.   Happy first Day of Fall from Blogspot.    ©2018 Faith Butterfield. Last Sunday,  I attended Spec Fest which was held by Spectrum Laboratory at the Huffington Center in Los Angeles, CA. At first, before the show started I saw the artists and autism organizations with their booths displayed but I was reunited with my old animation classmate Carissa Pacelli who is with her aunt and her mother Margarita who knows my friend Jian Giannini. and I ran into Howie Hoffman who is the Animation Director at Exceptional Minds who offered me to go to a summer program at Exceptional Minds this summer in order to learn how to use Animate and gain more figure drawing experience so I can be at a professional artist and animator.    Here are all the videos and photos that I took from this day and my newest animated short My Heart Flies premiered at Spec Fest which impressed the audience and made a huge success with Spectrum Laboratory along with the Spec Band which they performed their songs from the new album that they recorded.
